A GUY I KNOW REALLY WELL HAD THIS CAR SINCE 2005 WITH NO MOTOR BUT JUST THIS YEAR DECIDED TO MAKE IT A DRIVER FROM THE TONS OF PARTS HE HAD COLLECTED ALL HIS LIFE AS HE JUNKED CARS AND BOUGHT AT SWAPS OVER THE YEARS. HE TOOK A 73 440 J CODE RV ENGINE THAT CAME FACTORY WITH A STEEL CRANK FROM HIS STOCK AND DISASSEMBLED TO INSPECT. ITS HAS STOCK PISTONS AND CRANK. HE PUT IN A SUMMIT 282/292/DURATION CAM, REBUILT 906 HEADS THAT HE HAD IN HIS STOCK. HE ADDED NEW ELECTRONIC IGNITION AND DISTRIBUTOR. USED HEADERS AND SOME BIG O DOUBLE BARREL PIPES OUT THE BACK THAT SOUND PRETTY COOL. THE TRANS IS A 72 THAT HE HAD IN HIS STOCK. HE NEW OIL AND TEMP GAUGES INSTALLED BUT NON IN DASH WORK EXCEPT AMP. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS TO INSTALL THE FRONT SWAY BAR THAT IS INCLUDED AND AN EXTRA RADIATOR SUPPORT FOR WHERE SOMEONE CUT OUT THE UPPER PIECE. BODY - TO RESTORE OI THINK IT NEEDS A HOOD, DECK LID, A PATCH IN THE FRONT RIGHT FLOOR PAN, A TRUNK PAN AND A PAIR OF FULL QUARTERS TO TAKE CARE OF RUST HOLES. THE QUARTERS WILL CATCH ALL ROOF RUST EXCEPT MAYBE AN INCH IF IT DON'T GO HIGH ENOUGH ON 1 SIDE. REALLY STRAIGHT CAR. AND IT DON'T HAVE ANY OF THOSE BUBBLY AREAS THEY GET AT THE FRONT POST TO COWL SEAMS AND AT ROCKERS TO QUARTERS. NICE GRILL AND PRETTY NICE TAIL PANEL. INTERIOR - IT NEEDS IT ALL BUT DOES HAVE A PRETTY NICE GAUGE CLUSTER. WINDOWS AND DOORS WORK WELL GLASS IS ALL GOOD. THE WINDSHIELD ON RIGHT SIDE HAD THE WIPER MAKE A SMALL ARCH SCRATCH. LIGHTS AND WIPERS WORK. NOT WORKING - HORN, HEATER FAN, RADIO, CLUSTER GAGES EXCEPT THE AMP GAGE. DELIVERY POSSIBLE ALL OVER THE USA. I NEED CITY AND ZIP CODE TO PRICE IT.
